Filet w/ Whipped Basil Goat Cheese
My sweet brother came home for Labor day weekend, so we made a huge dinner. Starting with: STEAK. And not just steak, but herbed goat cheese steak. It was absolutely delicious to say the least and I hope you think so too!
Start by salting and peppering the filets.
And they’ll turn out like this….
These sweet pups wanted in on the deliciousness…
To make the whipped goat cheese, start by letting the cheese come to room temperature. You’ll need about 2 tbsp per filet. Finely chop 3 basil leaves for each filet.
Once the goat cheese has come to room temperature, whip with a beater until it’s creamy. A few seconds should do the trick. Add the goat cheese in and beat for another 2-3 seconds or until the chopped basil is all mixed up.
And you’re ready to plate it!
Ahhhh! Too yummy!
